Police Search for Escaped Prisoner

Police are looking for a man who escaped from prison in the Thames Valley.

Jarreau Alexander Charles, aged 24, was serving an indeterminate sentence for false imprisonment and assault when he absconded from HMP Springhill in Grendon Underwood in Buckinghamshire on Tuesday.

It is believed Charles was in the Marsh Gibbon area when he was last seen, although police he does have connections to Middlesex and Oxford.

Police believe there is a danger of Charles re-offending and would urge anyone who sees him to call 999 immediately and not to approach him as he may be violent.

Charles is black, 6ft 7ins, stocky and has Chinese writing tattoos on his torso.
