Slough: Attempted Robbery With Gun

A taxi driver has been assaulted during an attempted armed robbery in Slough.
It happened after a taxi driver picked up two passengers from outside the Easy Gym on the High Street at around 6.30am.
During the journey one of the passengers pulled a gun and assaulted the driver. The driver stopped the car in Shaggy Calf Lane and a scuffle broke out and the two passengers ran off towards Kendal Drive.
The victim sustained head injuries and has been taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The first man is described as black in his late teens to early twenties, the second man is described as of mixed race and in his late teens to early twenties.
Investigating officer, Det Sgt Ash Mohmood, said:
"We are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may know the offenders. The victim has been left very shaken by this assault which is not believed to be targetted"
