Tributes For Basingstoke's Dean Evans

Friends of Dean Evans, who died in an attack in Basingstoke have been paying tribute to one of the town's "kindest men".

The 31-year-old from Kempshott was found lying in Benham Road early on Friday morning, before later dying in hospital.

Two men have appeared in court charged with his murder.

Dean's friends, Emma and Channon tell Heart, "nothing will take the pain away that people are feeling - ever".

In a tribute to their friend, they added, "Rest in peace Deano you'll be missed every day - your curly afro and your cheesy grin will remain in everyone's thoughts."

"Basingstoke's lost one of the kindest men we will ever come across. Fly high with the angels, rest easy big man."
