Woman's Car Windscreen Attacked near A41 Aylesbury.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of criminal damage to a vehicle.

The incident took place on Monday (12/12) at about 6pm at the Waddesdon Hill junction with the A41.

The victim, a 32-year-old woman, was driving from Long Crendon towards Waddesdon in her blue Audi Quattro.

She became aware of a white van driving closely behind her with its lights on full beam.

The van proceeded to follow her to the crossroads near to the A41. The victim then decided to stop in a layby prior to the crossroads, adjacent to the house in the manor grounds.

She then heard a smash and saw a man at the rear of her car, and another man by the passenger side.

The victim then managed to drive away from the men. Her vehicle had sustained damage to the rear windscreen.

One of the men is described as white, with dark hair, aged in his 30s, with a medium build and about 5ft 8ins tall. He was wearing dark clothing.

Investigating officer PC Graham Gray, based at Aylesbury police station, said: 'This was a distressing incident which occurred when the victim was by herself.

It happened during the evening rush hour period near to a busy junction, and we believe that about four or five vehicles passed the scene as the vehicle was being attacked.'
