Torquay Marine Repatriated

The body of a Torquay marine's flown home on Thursday, with hundreds of people expected to turn out to pay tribute.

Anthony Hotine was killed in an explosion, while on patrol in Afghanistan last week. The 21 year old was born in the Bay, but most recently lived up in Wiltshire.

His body'll arrive along with two other soldiers at RAF Lyneham, and following a private family service, his coffin'll be driven through Wootton Bassett, where people'll line the streets to show their respects.

Anthony's family've said "We are so proud of Anthony, he lived and breathed the Royal Marines and he was a 'Bootneck' through and through.

"Words cannot describe the devastating sense of loss felt across the whole family. He was an amazing son, big brother and grandson to us all.
