Winter Wind

Wales is expected to see heavy winds bringing disruption throughout Saturday.

The Met Office predict Storm Brian will hit Wales in the early hours of Saturday morning at around 4am.

Strong winds could see gusts of up to 70mph in coastal areas and 50mph inland.

Those winds are expected to coincide with high tides which could mean large waves and spray in parts, particularly the South West.

There are a number of flood warnings in place, with Natural Resources Wales warning some property owners to be aware. See if you'l be affected by keeping up to date with the  flood alerts and warnings here.

Short term power losses and the potential for trees to be uprooted are also possible.

Meanwhile, Arriva Trains Wales have advised that they will put in place emergency speed restrictions across most of the routes across Wales and the borders. That means changes to services for the majority of the weekend, which you can check here.
