Carnival Queens dramatic rescue
Two Carnival Queens have been rescued by police after the car they were travelling in burnt out.
They broke down on the way to the Parade in Colwyn Bay at the weekend.
Officers from North Wales Police gave them a lift to prevent their gowns getting ruined!
PCSO Naomi Hill explained: “The Neighbourhood Policing Team were invited along to assist with traffic control, and to deal with any potential problems.”
She added: “We were happy to help them out on the last leg of their journey to Colwyn Bay Leisure Centre, to prevent rain damage to their lovely dresses.”
