Birmingham Airport Consultation

There's more time for local people to find out about changes to the routes of planes coming in and out of Birmingham airport.

The routes are changing cause of the extension to the runway there, which means the airport will be able to accommodate bigger aircraft.

Some locals, especially in Balsall Common, say they are worried about the impact of the change, which they think could see more noise pollution in the area.

Consultation sessions are going to be held in:

• Balsall Common - Wednesday 24th April between 1900 and 2100 at the Jubilee Centre.
• Barston - Thursday 25th April between 1900 and 2100 at Barston Village Hall

People have till the 17th of May to respond to a consultation on the changes.
