The family of a 17-year-old boy who died when he got into difficulty after entering a lake have paid tribute to their son.
Luke Murphy's body was recovered from the Blue Lagoon, Bishops Itchington, at 10.50am on July 27, after the alarm was first raised at 6.30pm the day before, Warwickshire Police said.
Ambulance crews who were on the scene were told the teenager, of Daventry, had got into difficulty after going into the lake at the popular beauty spot near Leamington Spa.
Paying tribute to Luke, his parents said: "Luke was kind, bright and loving.
"He was liked by all who met him and brought happiness to everyone that knew him. We were proud to have called him our son."
The force said the family wished for their privacy to be respected at this time.
