Five men have been charged after a suspected acid attack on a three year-old boy in Worcester.
The little boy was in a pushchair inside a Home Bargains store at a retail park on Saturday (July 21st) when a substance was either thrown or sprayed into his face.
He has since been discharged from hospital and is back home with his family but the long-term implications of his injuries are unknown at this time.
The attack, which West Mercia Police believe was targeted, was described as "pure evil" at the time.
Five men, aged between 22 and 41 and from Wolverhampton and London, were all arrested in the days after the attack. They've now been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
For legal reasons, police say the defendants names won't be released.
They're all due at Kidderminster Magistrates Court this morning (July 25th).
