Police in Walsall have released CCTV footage of a group of men they want to trace after a young woman suffered a fractured jaw when she tried to intervene in a fight.
The 20-year-old tried to stop a fight involving a large number of men in the early hours of Friday March 27 in Hatherton Road, Walsall.
As she did so, she was punched from behind in the face by one of the man, which resulted in her suffering two fractures to her jaw. She was taken to hospital where she was treated, which included having two metal plates inserted into her jaw.
DC Sukhdev Singh from Walsall’s violent crime team, said: “This was a nasty and unprovoked attack on a young women on a night out, who was trying to stop a fight between a group of men."
The man who hit the girl, is described as white, aged 20-30, with dark hair and wearing dark coloured clothing.
