High Rise Fire Training Centre Opens In Oldbury
A special training centre to help fire fighters prepare for fires in high rise buildings has opened in Oldbury.
The 6 million pound facility is the first of it's kind in the world.
It's a replica of a block of flats or offices, Heart's Rebecca Swash saw fire fighters being put through their paces by chief fire officer Phil Hales, he said:
'We've got so many high rise buildings here in the West Midlands that it's so important our fire fighters have those skills. This facility is invaluable. '
