The Jubilee Tour across the West Midlands

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh have been in Worcester, Birmingham city centre, The Queen Elizabeth hospital in Birmingham and RAF Cosford as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour of the country.

She visited The Hive first where she officially opened the building by unveiling a plaque.

The Hive is a £60 million facility that increases the learning resources, technology, study and social spaces available to University of Worcester students

 

The Royal couple then visited Worcester Guildhall to attend a reception lunch followed by a walkabout before watching a performance celebrating the city at Worcester Cathedral where she unveils another plaque.

On Thursday the 12th of July she did a walkabout through Victoria Square in Birmingham, followed by a visit to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Selly Oak.

The Royal couple then attended a pageant at RAF Cosford in Shropshire on Thursday afternoon.
