West Midlands Police have charged a man after a stabbing at a chip shop in Birmingham.
The 51 year old victim was violently attacked at 'Simply Fish and Chips' on Hagley Road West in Quinton on the afternoon of November 7th and is still recovering after being seriously injured.
Leon Mctaggart aged 28, unemployed, from Hagley Road, Birmingham has also been charged with possession of an offensive weapon and has been remanded to appear before Sandwell Magistrates Court on Monday 1 December.
He was arrested on Friday in connection with a stabbing on November 7 at Simply Fish and Chips in Hagley Road West, Quinton.
A 51-year-old man who was stabbed several times during the assault continues to recover.
