A man's been arrested after a man's body was found in flat in Coventry.
Police say they believe the 44 year-old died from a knife wound.
Officers were called last night to the home on Langlodge Road in Holbrooks at 11.30pm after reports of a stabbing.
They found the man's body inside the home.
On arrival, officers discovered the body of a 44-year-old man who is believed to have died from a knife wound.
A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder from an address in the Earlsdon area of the city and is being questioned.
Detective Inspector Warren Hines is investigating the man’s death. He said: "We have officers at the scene carrying out forensic examinations and we are speaking to local residents to establish exactly what happened.
"Early inquiries lead us to believe the arrested man and the deceased knew each other and that this is an isolated matter.
"Formal identification is yet to take place but the man’s next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
"A post-mortem will take place later today to determine the cause of the man’s death and I would urge anyone who feels they may have information relevant to our investigation to contact me on 101."
