The man charged with causing the death of a 20-year-old woman in a Kingstanding collision on Sunday has been remanded in custody
20 year-old Brandon Daniels from Chingford Road in Kingstanding, appeared before Birmingham Magistrates on Wednesday (1st August) to face a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.
He was remanded in custody to appear in court again on the 29th August.
Three other occupants of the Audi, two aged 17 and a 20-year-old, were arrested for burglary. They remain under investigation, though two have been recalled to prison for other matters.
A 21-year-old occupant of the Audi and the 22-year-old driver of the Golf both remain in a critical condition in hospital.
Meanwhile, the family of Sarah Giles have thanked the kindness of people that have helped them since her death.
They said: “We are overwhelmed by all the support shown by the local community following our daughter’s death. We would also like to thank them with all our heart for the help they gave Sarah and the police at the time of the incident.”
