Police Treat Telford Fight As Attempted Murder

Police are treating a fight in Telford as attempted murder.

It happened at around 7.50pm on Friday (29th June) at Bank Way in Ketley Bank.

Two men are in hospital; a 20 year old with a serious face injury and man in his 40s with a slash wound. Neither are thought to have life-threatening injuries.

Three men have been arrested. A 21 year old and an 18 year old have been arrested on suspicion of attempt murder and violent disorder whilst one man, aged 37, has been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

Two or 3hree vehicles fled shortly afterwards in the direction of Greyhound Interchange. It's believed they could have been abandoned and detectives are keen to speak to anyone with information.

Police patrols have been increased in the area.

Telford's CID Detective Inspector Billy Scott said: "It doesn't matter how small or insignificant people may think the information they have is, it all helps with our enquiries and I would anyone who has any information to get in contact with us."
