Three men have been jailed after an assault in Birmingham.
Keiron Rankin, Joshua Allen and Kabir Abubakar will serve a total of 14 years for the attack in May.
A 32-year-old man was left unconscious after being punched and kicked on New Street.
CCTV also captured Abubakar high kick the victim in the face causing him to fall to the floor where the group continued their attack on the man.
Before leaving the man alone in the street, Rankin steals his bag and Allen runs back delivering a kick to the man leaving him unconscious.
Detective Constable Alex Backrath, from Force CID, said: "This was a needlessly violent attack which left the victim scared and with serious facial injuries.
"It was a relentless and unprovoked attack of an innocent man walking down the street . But thanks to the CCTV operator who tracked the men leaving the scene, we were able to act fast and detain the trio before they had a chance to escape.
"All three men refused to give a reason for the attack and only responded with no comment answers during their police interview. The only word uttered was by Allen who on seeing the CCTV branded the attack disgusting."
"It is not just the physical but psychological damage such an assault can cause. But I hope this sentence can offer some closure to the victim."
