A girl has died following a collision between a car and two pedestrians in the West Midlands.
Officers were called to the incident in Oldbury Road at about 10.50pm on Saturday - with West Midlands Police confirming a six-year-old had been killed.
A 27-year-old man and 26-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and remain in police custody.
DC Damian Gibson from the Collision Investigation Unit said, “We are investigating the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
“Although we have two in custody, we’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have CCTV which can help with our enquiries.
“There may be motorists who’ve captured the incident on dash-cams and if so I’d ask them to also get in touch as they could have important information.
“The family are receiving support from family liaison officers and, our thoughts are them at this very sad time.”
