It's time for the pantomime. Oh no it isn't! You've said the next line in your head already haven't you? But just in case...Oh yes it is!

Nothing says Christmas like the traditional family panto, so bring your family to see Aladdin this Christmas at Swindon's Wyvern Theatre from Saturday 8th December - January 6th.

Eastenders legend Adam Woodyatt, or Ian Beale as you'll probably know him as, has been welcomed back to Wyvern Theatre play the role of the evil Abanazar.

Adam has been a staple of soap land for over three decades and in that time has won five British Soap Awards (including one for Best Actor) and was awarded Soap Personality of the Year by the Television and Radio Industries Club. Adam also regularly guests on TV game and panel shows and has hosted programmes such as Value For Money, Dreamhouse and National Lottery Live.

No stranger to the stage, Adam made his pantomime debut in Mother Goose at the Wyvern Theatre in 1989 and starred as the Wicked Queen’s loveable, bumbling Henchman to critical and audience acclaim in Swindon’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2015 and last year played the role of Captain Hook in Peter Pan.
