Swindon: Police Investigate Serious Sexual Assault

An area in the centre of Swindon has been sealed off as police investigate reports of a serious sexual assault.

Officers were called at around 3.30am this morning to reports of a serious sexual assault in Fleming Way, involving a 23-year-old female. 

Officers have cordoned off a small area on Fleming Way and there will be police presence there for most of this morning. 

Police say a robust investigation is now well under way.
