Police say a man who failed to return to an open prison, may be in Wiltshire.
Lucas Lamb walked out of Ford Prison back in September last year.
Officers are noew broadening their enquiries to cover the whole of East Sussex area and Swindon in Wiltshire, following the new information.
31 year old Lamb was convicted of GBH with intent in Hailsham in October 2012.
He is described as white, 5' 8", thin with short brown hair and blue eyes with a tattoo on his lower neck which says Cleo and has a scar above his right eye.
He has links to the Hailsham and Eastbourne areas.
Chief Inspector Gary Pike, Wealden District Commander said: "We are offering a reward of £300 for information leading to his arrest."
