Bronze elephant unveiled in Chester
A bronze elephant has been unveiled in Chester, the forerunner to a huge public art event in the City planned for the summer.
The elephant is a gift from Chester Zoo and mirrors a similar sculpture at the entrance to the attraction.
In July a trail of 70 rhino sculptures will be put up linking the Zoo with Chester City Centre.
Shane Flynn from Chester Renaissance says it's about forging links between the tourist attractions.
He said:
"The connection between the City and Zoo is a collaboration that has grown stronger over recent times.
"I think it will go on from the strength of this to more strength in the future."
