Queen comes to Chester and Liverpool

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh will visit Chester Zoo and Liverpool on their tour of the North West of England today.

The Queen will start her day at Chester Zoo where she will unveil a plaque at the entrance and tour the Zoo by monorail. The Queen will then visit the the rhino paddock while the Duke of Edinburgh will view the elephant area.

Upton Heath Primary School will perform for the Queen outside the Rhinos, hear them sing and hear from the pupils.

They'll then make there way to Orford Jubilee Park in Warrington. They'll be taken on a 'Driveabout' in the State Range Rover. They then bury a time capsule.

In the afternoon The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh will take a drive to the Merseyside Maritime Museum where they will board a yellow Duckmarine boat and be taking on a short tour by boat around the Albert Dock. 

They'll then have lunch at the museum.
