Letters for the Troops

We're being asked to write morale boosting Christmas messages for troops from our area who are fighting in Afghanistan.

Using 'e-bluey' technology you will be able to send a message to troops in Afghanistan.

Provided by the British Forces Post Office (BFPO) the e-bluey system, which is mobile and can be set up almost anywhere, is a two-way system which allows friends and family of troops deployed on operation to send letters, photographs and drawings to their loved ones electronically.

The system also allows mail to arrive much quicker as it is printed and sealed in Afghanistan and doesn't have to wait for space on a plane.

You can use it by clicking the link on the right.
