Waterski challenge

Family and friends of a teenager from Almondsbury have set a world record as they raise funds in memory of the 14 year old who died in a plane crash almost four years ago.

Charlie Froud was in a light aircraft that crashed in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland in 2008, his school friend Ayman Booz, along with Ayman's parents Margaret and Sharif, also died in the accident.

His dad Dave, along with a team of friends, have successfully waterskied across the irish Sea in just 2 hours 52 minutes. This had never been attempted before and the water-skiers aim to raise £30,000 in memory of Charlie.
