Bristol: Woman Punched In Face
Police are looking for a man who was seen punching a female tourist in the face in Bristol and then walking away.
It happened about 4pm on Wednesday August 8 when a 27 year old visitor to the city was assaulted in Brigstock Road at its junction with Argyle Road.
She required hospital treatment for a facial injury, which left her with a black eye and 12 stitches above her left eye.
Police say they believe there were other people in the area at the time and are asking for them to get in touch if they saw the incident or have any information to help with enquiries.
Anyone able to help is asked to contact Bristol CID on the force number 101. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 101 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org .
