Meet Joey from WAR HORSE
Joey the life-sized horse puppet, the star of the National Theatre’s smash-hit stage play WAR HORSE, will be visiting Cabot Circus for an exclusive appearance on Thursday 16th March, between 1pm and 2pm.
Come and meet the breathtakingly life-like star of WAR HORSE, who has thrilled audiences all over the globe, and also hear some of the timeless songs from this acclaimed production, which returns to Bristol Hippodrome from Wednesday 18th October – Saturday 11th November.
Joey will appear in central space outside House of Fraser along with Songman performing some of the beautiful music from the show. Bring your camera – Joey loves to have his picture taken!
The Heart Angels will be there running an iPad competition, providing you with the chance to win a money can’t buy prize, including dinner for four followed by VIP tickets to see this multi-award winning show and a meet and greet with Joey.
Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness. At its heart are astonishing life-sized horses by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.
