Sunday 19th August - Anna's Hope Fairy World Record Attempt from 12 noon in Burghley Park at Burghley House, Stamford.

Local charity Anna’s Hope is inviting all fairies to help break the World Record for the Number of Fairies in One Place. The event will take place on Sunday 19th August from 12 noon in Burghley Park  and the official count will be at 2pm. Fairies of any age are invited to dress up, bring a picnic and put Anna’s Hope and Stamford into the Record Books. To qualify as a fairy you need to wear Fairy wings , a tutu or dress and a wand. As an added incentive anyone dressed as a fairy on the day will get half price admission into the Garden of Surprises. The event is free but if you can also get sponsored then that would be fantastic and all the money will go towards helping local children and young people with a brain tumour. Founder of Anna’s Hope and Anna’s mummy, Carole Hughes said it would be brilliant if families and friends enter into the fairy spirit, break the world record and picnic together in the beautiful grounds of Burghley Park. It will also be a very special as the event will also coincide with what would have been Anna’s 10th Birthday. All Fairies must register prior to the event so please complete the registration form and return it to Anna’s Hope. To register please  complete registration form and return to Anna’s Hope or contact admin@annashope.co.uk
