22 August 2013, 16:10

A man, whose body was found following a house fire in Littleport, has been named as Toby Paul Satchell.

The inquest into his death was opened and adjourned today (Thursday).

The 28 year old, who lived at 1 Kingsmead Court in Littleport, was found dead following a fire at the property on Sunday (18 August) morning.

Residents reported hearing explosions at the time, however the fire service hasn't publicly confirmed how the fire broke out.

At a post-mortem examination yesterday (Wednesday), it was confirmed the man's death isn't being treated as suspicious.

An investigation into the fire has since been completed by Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service.

However this has not been made public, and the service says the findings of that investigation have been passed to the coroner.
