Radiation Tests At Addenbrooke's

4 April 2011, 06:00

The Nuclear Medicine Team at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge is offering radiation check-ups for people returning from Japan.

A full-body check takes 15 minutes and will pick up "the smallest levels of radioactive contamination".

Doctors say they'll arrange "the necessary medical medical follow-up with clinical experts" if significant levels of radiation are found.

People who are concerned after returning from Japan can apply for the test, as well as companies whose staff have returned from the country.

The Nuclear Medicine Team can be contacted on 01223 217 145.
