So far they've got a 100% record, with Ross the American Bulldog Cross correctly choosing Brazil as the winners of the first match.

Four dogs from K9 Crusaders in Bissoe near Truro are hoping for more of the spotlight than Paul the Octopus.

During the 2010 World Cup, the eight legged creature was predicting the outcomes of matches, but this time it's the dogs turn.

For the first match, Ross the American Bulldog cross chose Brazil as the winners, meaning so far they've got a 100% success rate.

Now Bruno the Rottweiler cross has picked Spain as his winner for Friday's match against Holland.

Kez who's a volunteer at the shelter came up with the idea, and has been teaching the four chosen "Pundit Pooches" to sit on the penalty spot of their homemade football pitch.

The chosen dog will be shown two bowls of tasty treats, each with a team flag attached. They're then put in a goal, and whichever bowl the dog goes to first is their pick of the match.

They've even got a Guvnor, Big George the Boxer cross, who overlooks the proceedings, to make sure no one's cheating.

Jess the Jack Russell has already chosen England as her winner for Saturday's showdown against Italy, but Wesley the Lurcher, is still waiting on his predictive debut.
