71 Year Old Hit By Car In Wimborne
A 71 year old woman's in hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car in Wimborne.
Police say it happened on Stone Lane at 16.42 on Tuesday May 31st 2011. She was walking along when she was struck by a Mitsubishi Warrior being driven y a local man. No arrests have been made.
The road was closed until around 8pm while collision investigators looked into what happened.
The injured woman is receiving treatment at Poole Hospital and is said to be in a serious but stable condition.
