Man Found Dead In Poole Harbour Named
A man whose body was found in the water at Poole Harbour has been named as 81-year-old retired engineer Percival Toms from Canford Heath.
Police said they were told about a body in the water at Poole Quay just before 10.30 on Tuesday 21st February 2012.
It was spotted by a passing boat and recovered from the water. The pensioner's death is not being treated as suspicious.
An inquest which was opened and adjourned at Bournemouth Coroner's Court on Wednesday February 22nd heard that the cause of death was drowning.
