Bournemouth Remembrance Sunday Parade

Bournemouth led the Remembrance Day events in Dorset at the weekend with a parade through the town.

A parade of ex-servicemen and women, pre-service and youth organisations marched from Exeter Crescent, through the Town Centre and the Central Gardens, to the War Memorial.

The service was conducted by the Reverend Dr Ian Terry, Team Rector of Bournemouth Town Centre Parish, and clergy representing other denominations in Bournemouth.

The Mayor of Bournemouth - Councillor Chris Rochester, Councillors and Civic Dignitaries including the Town’s MPs was joined by Service Representatives and a large public crowd in remembering all victims of war.
