They've released a picture of a possible witness they'd like to speak to.

Officers received a report that a 19-year-old Bournemouth woman had come off her bicycle along Coach House Place in Bournemouth, heading toward the train station, at around 6.10pm on Thursday 8 November 2012.

She cyclist was knocked unconscious and suffered facial and head injuries.

Police Constable Dan Cullen, of Bournemouth police, said: ''It is not clear what exactly happened but a vehicle may have been involved.

A vehicle, believed to be a blue five door saloon car, stopped at the scene.

I am now able to release a CCTV image of the driver of this car. I would like to stress that he is a potential witness and I would
urge him to come forward as I believe he may have vital information about the incident.

Two further men assisted the injured cyclist in the road before emergency services attended. I would also like to talk to these two men to find out whether they witnessed what exactly happened.
