Do You Know Any Inspirational Women?

Help to celebrate the achievements of inspirational women in Bournemouth and Poole by sharing your stories, past and present, of women who have made a difference to the lives of people in their community.

A legacy exhibition of all the nominations will be held at Bournemouth & Poole College in the Autumn 2011. Their aim is to reach 100 nominations to feature in a specially commissioned book to commemorate the centenary.

Nominations received so far include Kerry Manning from Bourne Valley Action Group who has made an outstanding contribution to the community. Kerry is seen as a passionate determined woman whose vision and mission to improve the lives of families in the area makes her an inspiration.

Sandie Martin has also been nominated. She supports, encourages, and inspires others to get fitter and healthier through her Rosemary Conley Franchise, whilst being a fantastic wife mother and friend. She is passionate dedicated supportive loving and caring. A true inspiration in life and business.

If you know a special woman who deserves recognition, please nominate them via the International Women's Day 2011 Poole & Bournemouth Facebook page or complete a nomination form available at libraries and other public buildings.
