Dorset police have managed to recover 26 pages of a novel written by a blind author - who didn't realise her pen had run out of ink.

Trish Vickers from Charmouth was devastated when her son told her 26 pages were blank.
A forensic expert used special lighting to read the words. it took five months and they did it all in their spare time.
