Efits Of Poole Co-op Robbers
Detectives investigating a robbery at a shop in the Creekmoor area of Poole are renewing their appeal for witnesses to come forward.
Officers are releasing e-fits of two of the men responsible.
The incident, in which three men threatened members of staff with a large knife before taking a quantity of cash, happened at the Co-op Welcome store on Creekmoor Lane at about 6.50am on Wednesday, 17 August 2011.
Nobody was injured as a result of the incident.
Detective Constable Jo Shewbridge, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said:
"Following further enquiries, I am now able to release e-fits of two of the robbers.
"I would urge anyone who recognises these two men to contact me at the earliest possible opportunity."
The three offenders – who were wearing coverings on their heads and hands – left the scene in a car toward Longmeadow Drive.
DC Shewbridge continued:
"I am appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in this area, to contact me urgently.
"Anyone who has any information about those responsible should contact Dorset Police as soon as possible."
The quantity of stolen money is not being released.
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 01202 22 22 22 quoting incident number 17:69. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply
Officers say many of those were after people didn't secure their car properly.
