Four registered sex offenders living in Dorset have disappeared.

Dorset Police have released this statement:

As of Thursday 17 October 2013, there were a total of 4 registered sex offenders classed as missing or currently recorded as wanted, and being actively sought by Dorset Police because they have broken notification requirements.

Sex offenders are categorised as MAPPA 1 to 3 depending on the risk they pose and the level of supervision they require, with Level 3 being the most severe.

All 4 registered sex offenders classed as missing or currently recorded as wanted from the Dorset area are all MAPPA 1, and three of these are believed to be overseas.

Dorset Police are proactively working to locate these individuals and arrest them.
