Stolen Food Van Found

Police in Poole say a delivery van that was stolen in the middle of its rounds in the Rossmore area of the town has been found.

The Wiltshire Farm Foods delivery van was stolen from outside an address along Alder Road at 10.25am on Friday 9th November 2012.

The white Citrioen Berlingo was found over the weekend on Winston Avenue in Poole - police haven't said if it was empty.

Police Constable Mark Palmer, of Dorset Police Traffic Unit, said:

“The van was making deliveries of frozen food to the local community.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time, has seen the vehicle after 10.25am, or has any information about those responsible, to contact police urgently.

“Anyone with information about the incident should contact Dorset Police on 101.”
