Two Charged Over Attack Outside Pub

Detectives in Bournemouth have charged two men following an attack in the Pokesdown area of the town.

A 24-year-old man from Bournemouth was attacked by a group of other men outside the Seabourne Pub near to Pokesdown Railway Station on Christchurch Road at around 10pm on Saturday, 29th October 2011.

The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition with what police have described as "very serious head injuries".

Two men aged 26 and 27 - both from Bournemouth - will appear in court on Wednesday.

A third man, a 27-year-old from Bournemouth, has also been arrested.
