Man Attacked In Weymouth

Police in Weymouth investigating an assault in the town have released pictures of a man they're looking for.

The attack happened at 4.10am on Tuesday 13th November 2012 on Abbotsbury Road.

The victim, an 18-year-old man from Weymouth, was near to the subway on Abbotsbury Road, not far from Westham Bridge, when he was punched in the face by an unknown man and suffered facial injuries.

Police Constable Phillip Billington, of Weymouth police, said:

“This was a nasty attack that appears to be unprovoked.

“I now have available four CCTV images of a man who I believe can help us with our investigation.

“I urge him to come forward and speak to us as I am keen to establish exactly what happened.

“Witnesses and anyone with any information, or anyone who recognises this man pictured should phone Dorset Police on 101 in strict confidence.”
