Man Charged With Drug And Gun Offences

A man's been charged by Dorset police with possessing a gun, ammunition and drugs.

Officers raided a Bournemouth hotel on Saturday October the 20th.

A gun, bullets, money and what's thought to be cocaine was found in St Michael's Road.

30-year-old Daniel Smedley from Sheffield has been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition,  two counts of possessing drugs with intent to supply and money-laundering.

He appeared before Bournemouth magistrates on Friday October the 26th, and will appear at Bournemouth Crown Court on Friday the 2nd of November.
