Bournemouth: Woman Charged With Attempted Murder

A woman's been charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed in Bournemouth.

The 55-year-old was attacked off Seabourne Road in Southbourne early on Monday morning (8 September).

Jacqueline Davis, who's also 55 and from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, is due to appear before Bournemouth Magistrates today (Wednesday 10 September).

A Dorset Police spokesperson said:

"At 1.32am on Monday 8 September 2014 officers were called to an incident in the area of Seabourne Road in Bournemouth. Officers attended and located a 55-year-old Bournemouth man with stab wounds.

"The victim was taken to Poole Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victim and alleged offender are known to each other."
