Man Suffers Broken Jaw In Attack
Detectives are investigating a nightclub attack in Bournemouth that left a man with a broken jaw.
It happened at around 2.30am on Saturday 6 April 2013 at The Walkabout Inn on Old Christchurch Road.
The 21-year-old man from Bournemouth was approached by a man he didn't know while on the dance floor and was then punched in the face.
Hospital treatment later revealed he needed surgery for a broken jaw.
Detective Constable James Batty, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: "This attack has left the victim with a serious facial injury, and I am appealing for witnesses to assist with this investigation.
"Witnesses and anyone with information about the offender are asked to contact police as soon as possible in the strictest confidence."
We're told no arrests have yet been made.
Anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101.
The first rail freight service from the UK to China has arrived.
A tracker device led to it being recovered in Totton - a man's been questioned.
Special constables will be trained in CPR, using oxygen and defibrillators so they can be first responders if they're closest.
