Thieves Target Poole Motor Home
A number of catalytic converters have been stolen in Poole.
16 were removed from mainly new motor homes at Marquis Motorhome Centre along Old Wareham Road, happened between 4pm on Thursday, 10 February 2011, and 4pm on Friday, 11 February 2011.
Police Constable Simon Hatch, of Poole police, said:
“The majority of the catalytic converters were taken from brand new motor homes so they should be easy to identify.
“A couple were taken from used vehicles.
“The vehicles that have been attacked are all either Fiat or Peugeot vehicles.
"I would urge anyone who witnessed this incident and anyone with information about those responsible to contact me urgently.
“I would also like to speak with anyone who has been offered a large number of catalytic converters in unusual circumstances.”
