Tower Park Cinema To Get 6 New Screens!
Tower Park's Empire Cinema looks set to become one of the biggest on the South Coast after submitting plans to expand.
Marketing Manager, Jon Nutton, has confirmed plans to add an additional 6 Screens. This will add a further 500 seats and will enable the cinema to screen a broader range of product, and the screens will occupy space on the upper level next to the current Monkey Business unit. It takes the total number of theatres there to 16.
Works will commence in the next couple of weeks with a view to opening these screens prior to the peak Summer season.
A spokeperson said:
"This further investment at Tower Park demonstrates our commitment to bringing the best cinema experience to the area. These works along with the full refurbishment completed in 2009 will bring our total investment at this Cinema to over £3 million.
"This will make the Cinema one of the largest cinemas in the South and will further establish it as one of the countries Top 20 Cinemas."
