10 Year Old Boy Impailed On Spike

A 10 year old boy's been taken to hospital with very serious injuries after becoming impaled on a spike.
Emergency services were called to Highfield in Letchworth at 3:02pm on Saturday 23rd June to find the spike stuck in his abdomen.
It took firefighters from Hitchin 40 minutes to free him with an electric saw.
He was rushed to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage in a stable but very serious condition.
