Police are appealing for help in tracing a 14 year old student who has been missing since Monday, March 19th.

Ranveer Chumber, who is originally from London but is living in Westbourne Road, Luton, was last seen leaving his school at approximately 3.30pm.

Ranveer has been missing before but usually contacts someone to tell them he is safe.  However, on this occasion he has not been in touch with anyone and police are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.

PC Darran Walker of the force's Missing Persons Unit, is keen to speak to anyone who can help trace Ranveer.  PC Walker said: "Ranveer has not done anything wrong but we do need to ensure he is safe and well. I would urge anyone who has information that may help trace Ranveer to contact the police as soon as possible."

Ranveer is described as 5'10" tall with an Asian appearance, brown eyes and brown shaven hair. He was last seen wearing black trousers, jumper and shoes with a white shirt, red and black tie and a blue Ellesse jacket.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ranveer can contact PC Darran Walker, in confidence, on 01234 842818, or Bedfordshire Police on 101, or text information to 07786 200011.
